「Huidance匯舞集」為旅歐舞蹈家蔡慧貞於2011年創立，「匯」字取其聚集、整合之意，蔡慧貞於台南出生成長，期望能以專業舞蹈為根，藉由各領域專業人才力量的匯集，發展多元風格的舞蹈劇場作品，在舞蹈中觀照生活，讓舞蹈表演藝術的呈現更具生命力。自我期許發展高品質的舞蹈創作，並回歸故鄉，提供南台灣舞蹈和劇場工作者專業表演、跨藝創作空間；發揚舞蹈藝術，培養舞蹈藝術欣賞人口的提升，讓新一代舞蹈創作風格在南台灣藝術扎根。
『HuiDance 』was founded by Hui-Chen Tsai in 2011. 『匯』
pronounces as 『Hui』, which
means gathering and integration. Hui-Chen was born and grew up in Tainan. As a
soloist in Europe, she decides to bring the HuiDance project home, to provide a
cross boundary space for artists to exchange their innovative ideas and to show
their talent. Hui-Chen expects to make the professional dance as the root of
the theatre works, from gathering the professionals in various fields and
collaborate with different artists, to develop the diverse style of the
works,look into the perspective of life for making the dance performances
become more vitality. Huidance also looks forward to nurturing the young
artists, stimulating the imagination of a diverse audience, and establishing
the new style of dance creation in south of Taiwan.
